Palau Megapode Project

Welcome to the page for the Davis Lab’s Palau Megapode Project. This exciting project started by Dr Rob Davis in 2012, will involve ECU PhD student Paul Radley, ECU lecturer Dr David Blake and ANU’s Prof. Rob Heinsohn, and will work closely with Palau’s Koror State government, Dr Alan Olsen at the Belau National Museum and the Palau Conservation Society. Together, we will unravel the threats facing the endangered sub-species of Micronesian Megapode, a mound-nesting bird found only in Palau.
